I'm selling these as I've not been using them and probably won't get the chance to use them much in future.
Both of these stoves were serviced in December 2011, using viton washers and seals or original parts. They both run very well, hot,steady and efficiently on ordinary paraffin, with a nice clean blue flame.
you can pick them up on ebay etc, but chances are the washers & seals etc will need doing and you'll have to service them yourself or pay someone else to do it for you. To do the job properly you need a couple of special tools too. ( speaks from bitter experience
)
first is an Optimus No1, 2 pint stove;
This one does not strip down for packing, apart from the pot stand which clips on and off for cleaning.
All the seals and washers have been replaced, including the non return valve in the pump and the pump cup washer.
Ideal if you're working from a base camp or vehicle set-up
I'm looking for £45 + £5 postage for this one please.
Second;
A cracking little Primus 210 hiking type stove.;
Again, all the seals and washers have been replaced, including the NRV and pump cup washer. This one is designed to break down for packing and transport and the pot supports are removable, as is the burner assembly. The original spanner for the burner is included in the sale as is a jet cleaning pricker.
To break it down,Switch off and let it cool. Then you close the pressure release valve on the filler cap, remove the burner assembly, remove the end cap cover from the pump handle and fit it to the top of the tank where the burner fits. This creates a sealed unit, ready for packing. all you do then is fold up the three little legs and pop it away.
I'd like £50 + £5 postage for this one please.
payment by cheque or postal order only please

any questions; feel free
both advertised elsewhere so don't hang about
