I received the call just before Christmas to say my knife is ready from Woodlore.
I know there is a big debate on the price and so on...
But I'm really happy with my purchase, I had plenty of time to save up. I fully intend to use it and one day pass it down to my son.
It's only money at the end of the day and you cant take it with you!. Enjoy the now...

Because the knife is made in small numbers so Woodlore have a waiting list to supply the knife.

It's currently up to 10 years now. Info here

by the time my name comes up then i should be able to afford it!!
however i know where xairbourne is coming from i plan to use mine and pass it on to little man when i am too old and incapable of further use(or when he pries it from my cold dead hands)

whilst its a large expense to own something like the woodlore knife is to own a part of ''bushcraft'' heritage. to use it is to actually appreciate it.
