Buying anything in store does have benefits...my fathers just been to Living Homes to look at TVs to get a feel for the size...sends me the model number then I buy it online....That's not the delivery fault, that's just the products cosen.
Theres lots of things that if they are out of stock, you can browse similar much easier than online..
Online is perfect for bulk goods, quite specific things ( xanthum gum, yeast extrac, TVP) that might be more difficult to find in standard groceries, but you can buy in bulk....
ive got many clients who would have been shafted if online shoppingw asnt a thing during covid...but by having to give their family a grocery list....and accept what they got...often meant paying more....there is economy in browsing unless you impulse buy , like going shopping when hungry....
Tesco used to have the details of what item was on what shelf - really handy when you couldn’t find something. It was through an app and store specific.
Now that is usefull....changing store contents around is really annoying....
