Get Firefox and their excellent pop up and advert blockers which can be fitted as add ons. That is unless you want to continue the enjoyment lottery of course.:)

Contains:
- 1 Handpresso Wild,
- 4 unbreakable cups,
- 300ml thermo-insulated flask in stainless steel (to have hot water always close to hand),
- 2 small napkins

unbreakable cups??! thats quite a claim.

is it bad that i would actually like one of these (if it was £17.50 not £75)

wouldn't take it wild camping but for our annual wales two weeker it would save m spending so much at the local coffee house!

£75 was the part that induced the giggling fit.

one of the reasons I go off into the woods is to get away from all the consumerist, technological, money driven "civilisation". I want a dirty billy full of coffee, with extra ash floaters! ;)

This doesn't quite seem to gel. Well, the idea of advertising it as anything to do with bushcraft anyway!

Iona, I thought it was funny as well. Like a gelert fold out kitchen sinks with draining boards, it is so you can stand there looking like a 1950s housewife, making superb coffee and and keep camp clean, while having mancured nails. But the irony may be lost on others.

I bought one of these in a Hungarian flea market for two pounds, an artifact from Socialist times, everything you need for an espresso in the wilds. The box contains two small aluminum containers, one for coffee and one for the hexamine fuel tablets, cups and the espresso maker. :D

And yes, use Firefox and kiss all those annoying pop up adverts goodbye.

Hehe! I get stick all the time for not being "girly" enough... Maybe this is the answer to my Aunts prayers. I can just see her buying me one of these in the hope that I'd grow long hair, get a manicure, wear something floral and stop carrying a knife around... :D

Good luck to Lurch, he is pursuing a particular niche market with that product. I am intrigued by his reference to BFPO. I wonder how many squaddies will buy a set.. maybe its only for walts? Does he need to put an SAS sticker on it too?

Don't worry Iona, my GF has the various knives etc., but everything I have bought her for the outdoors recently is bright pink!! She isn't amused.

That pretty much describes my wife. She has a habit of wearing pearl earings whilst gutting game and does make fantastic coffee, meals and indeed plays hostess....all with an open fire. I have seen her fashion a rolling pin in the field before now....and tongs....and...well...you get the idea!

And I, for one, aint complaining!

Maybe not squaddies, but I know a few guys in the RAF who would have one of those like a shot for use on detachment/deployments.

Your wife sounds very cool. I am a chef, and looove to play hostess and as for making rolling pins etc in the field, I bow to the master! ;)

But that's just it, I think paying £75 for something labelled as "wild" seems odd, and there are so many fun ways of making things as you go along! Improvisation is the way!!
