On my first bag, I used some Coats Nylbond 60 and it worked really well. But mostly this only comes in 60m reels.

For the next bag (layers of 1000D & 600D material) I was recommended by the supplier of the material to use Gutterman thread. But I have not been very impressed with this, it keeps
splitting and bunching. So I don't really want to finish off the major sewing up part with this thread.

So I am looking for larger reels on Nylon bonded thread, it seems quite rare to find Nylbond 60 in longer reels, but a bit easier to find Nylbond 40.
Is there much difference between using these two on a domestic machine ?

Or any other recommendation of another brand or supplier of nylon bonded thread would be appreciated.
