I really like the graceful way you finished the ends! Did you apply anything to protect the wood from food while keeping it food-safe?
I should mention the one imperfection I noticed on the plate... It's empty!

Thank you chaps. I've really enjoyed making these.
Woodsorrel, I gave everything two liberal coats of Walnut oil, then I made a 50/50 mix of Beeswax and Walnut oil, and them all a good polishing. Will also clean and repolish after every outing. Not sure if this is correct, but it makes sense to me. I'm also open to any advice on this subject.

That's a well made, unique set. So much better than mass produced rubbish. Much more satisfying to use too, I would imagine.
