Not one of my normal spoons

Have finally got the chance to upload this spoon it was made from the other half of Harvestmans piece, from the carving session we had http://www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=112094. I was trying for something different to my usual spoons and this was the result. Hope you like it.

I can't help admiring the sharp edges and clean faces of that, and the wood is surprisingly well marked too. Lovely piece.

Thanks for the kind comments peeps. It was hard fighting the urges to do the usaual with such a nice piece of naturally curved wood even though it had a knot running through the side to the front of the bowl.

Y'know, you really do amaze me Dean. You see something so much more in a piece of wood than most of us ever hope to see when carving a spoon. Very well done. Sitting here simply gobsmacked at the beauty of that.
