They are good, they were often used by the Royal Marines back in the 70's and early 80's. Well made not particularly large and the hip section of the frame can be uncomfortable for larger gentlemen

Was tempted to buy one...... Good job I checked as I already have one! Bought it last year but military mart listed it as a Norwegian vintage rucksack for £12.50.
