the wood looked glorious in its Autumn colours, i wish i was still there. A decent turnout and a few no-shows as per norm nevertheless it was a good meet. the workparty managed to clear a very large area which has doubled our pitch choice for both floor and tree dwellers, and of course has given us a good stock of winter fuel. As ever the car boot was popular and a load of gear swiftly changed hands

Tinkypete gave an excellent talk on a Navigation masterclass which was enjoyed by several new members as well as some old hands, followed by night navigation and pace methods.

Some cracking pics Steve, the colours and earthy Autumnal leaf litter smells were amazing...thanks as always for organising this and thanks to all who were able to attend. Good times as per usual.
