Im planning for January, however I went to the hospital yesterday as I've been having problems with my throat and they have found another lesion on my vocal cord again and I'm waiting a date for surgery.

not saying anything is off, just dates to be arranged.

Found a nice big fallen Lime tree branch this afternoon. Should be able to get a few friction sets from it.

Willow and Lime are the easiest woods to use. Once I striped the damp outer bark off the lime branch the inside was nice and dry. Made two sets already. It's a really nice wood to work with.

Most parks have Lime trees growing in them.

Just tried the lime set and got an ember in 20 seconds. Tomorrow I'm going to try using lime for the hand drill.

Impressed, have you tried poplar another good wood to use.
