Hi all I've been lurking for a while now, and I have to say this is a very friendly forum and I can't wait to get stuck in properly. I live in Surrey and I'm a hanger( love my hammock) I tend to get out once a month work depending.
these are a few spoons I have made over the last 2 weeks all I have used to make them is my knife and a bit of sandpaper, I have varnished them in olive oil, don't know how good that will be but it looks to be working.
let me know what u think

Nice work Are you just using a straight blade ? if so that is pretty good going
Not long till you get a spoon knife I bet
I second the Walnut or Tung oil
Ikea sell a clear oil very cheap which is good stuff
