Evening all , finally joined after a bit if lurking at the back , Thanks Tony for sorting out that wee hickup

Looking to increase my knowledge, and skills of the great out doors , we have finally managed to build a house where our stables are , we have 10 acres , about 0.5 acre of woodland that we planted and around 3 km of hedging . All had nothing much done to them apart from a tractor flail every autumn .

Loved camping on site , in the summer and built a gas bottle wood burner , to get a bit of heat when the sun went down , did a bit of hedgerow liqueur last autumn which turned out not too bad .

That's me really , knacked from a self build now looking to have some pleasure outdoor time

Thanks toddy , but military swap meet in bridge of earn this weekend I'm afraid , but cheers and will look out for more meets ,

Do you have details of that military swap meet please ? I know a couple of folks who would be very interested in that :)

While I mind; the car blew a back wheel bearing last week when I was down in Galloway and we needed to be trailered back home. The man who drove us is an archaeologist in his spare time; he digs up WW2 aircraft :D Fascinating fellow to chat to. He says he does demos and goes along to military type events too.

There are quite a few members in your area. I know of three near Kirkcaldy and another two in Glenrothes, and at least ten more in Fife.

cheers,
Toddy
