I may replace the grip yet as i am not too keen on the finish, first time I have used this and maybe my last. Back faberings dye i think.
She is late 50`s (lbs) draw weight at about 27inch draw length
The bow is 60 inches long with a black raw silk backing for almost all of the limb. Buffalo horn overlays and silk thread bindings.
Took a lot of fettling to get the recruves to fall into place and a lot of very careful tillering.
The colour of the wood is all natural besides the back obviously and the finish is an oil based finish called Tru-oil. Magic stuff.
Shoots very fast and hard, so much so I have resorted to using two bales of hay back to back to stop the arrows.
