I'm looking for a new knife, i'd like it to be a user rather than a looker and up to or around the £100 mark, any suggestions ?

A MORA Forrest for £30, a sheet of Kydex for £7, and Tekloc for another £10. Will match or out perform any custom job and give you a sense of smug minimalism and £53 change.
Try Adam of JLT knives, he's a member on here, he'll do you a knife to fit your budget. I have one of his woodlore's, and now have his take on a bush tool on order.

Lots of people are going to be saying mora, clipper etc., and for good reason- they are great. All knives are meant to be used, its just the value owners put on the looks when they have spent there hard earned cash on them. If you want a good knife that is different from the plastic handled accepted bushcraft knives out there try looking at these.

Other than the Spyderco Bushcrafter it has about the best handle of any production knife regardless of how you hold it and the blade at the business end is just stunning in use. It's at the upper end of your budget but worth every penny and more

Great knife for the money
no complaints here, been using one for 6 months now, its been doing everything from batoning, shaving feather sticks, and still be good for food prep!
though I do fancy myself an Enzo trapper... why ? coz i've found myslef a sharps addict *shakes head*... my name is Dave, and I have a problem..
