Try Adam of JLT knives, he's a member on here, he'll do you a knife to fit your budget. I have one of his woodlore's, and now have his take on a bush tool on order.

Mora classic, use for a bit, re-handle, re-sheath = nice knife

What about the Enzo Traper (about £60 for blade and about £100 with custom handle)

Lots of people are going to be saying mora, clipper etc., and for good reason- they are great. All knives are meant to be used, its just the value owners put on the looks when they have spent there hard earned cash on them. If you want a good knife that is different from the plastic handled accepted bushcraft knives out there try looking at these.

Cheap- under 30;
Cold steel bushman
Boker TUF

under 50
MOD survival knife
Condor bushcraft is getting good reviews

Under 70
Karesuando boar- beautiful knife
Enzo trapper mentioned above is a great knife.
Helle knives
Ka bar
gerber prodigy

Under 100
BKT magnum camp knife

Just a few ideas perhaps different from the norm. That said, you may find a clipper is your best bet! lol

Other than the Spyderco Bushcrafter it has about the best handle of any production knife regardless of how you hold it and the blade at the business end is just stunning in use. It's at the upper end of your budget but worth every penny and more

just my humplle thoughts sir. a mora bushcraft force and a good mid size folder, like the EKA swede 8. thatl leave you about £50 to spend on other stuff, like a bahco laplander and an ice bear japaneze water stone. just a thought.
