Sore hands I bet. even more impressed. I am a big hat wearer and love making my own stuff but have neaver tackled a hat. I hints one where I can find patterns?

She,s absolutely perfect, having held shape due to the wax treatment.

I think its got better looking with its accumulation of patina.
(Or, as my wife calls it, muck).

Yup, it looks kind of seedily raffish, and, when in use, I feel in touch with those old Palm Oil Ruffians......dunno about the Juleps.

I have since acquired the hide off of another settee and I am pondering the construction of Mk.2.
