Nothing fancy , just a wee bushcraft knife.

Bit more compact than my long suffering WS Woodlore and a matching firesteel

Scales are shaped for feel rather than looks and it's really comfortable so hopefully no hot spot's.

Bit thinner than the woodlore as well, 3mm thick 01, 193mm OAL , 90mm blade.

Actually finished it a few weeks ago but only got the sheath made at the weekend.

I really like the WS Woodlore but it's had a hard life and is due a tidy up and maybe a rest.
I always found it a little bit too long for carving so this one is designed as a replacement as my main bushcraft knife - for a while anyway  .

StuM did the HT and DavidH turned the matching firesteel, thanks guys.

Did you grind the blade Lawrence?

Lovely looking thing, will you miss the point of the woody tho'?

Aye i ground the blade myself.
I don't think the point will be a problem, this tip is a cross between a Woodlore and the British Blades Bushcrafter that Alan Wood made a few years ago, just with a shorter blade length.
It's actually not that much fuller than a standard A.Wood woodlore, just the WS in the pic is now much pointier after more than it's fair share of sharpening over the years.
