Luckily a previous owner numbered the poles...

Recognise the brand?

Um, well, I put the frame up first, as its a frame tent (obviously.)

However the frame fits in the canvas. You have to assemble it in the tent. (With a lot of cussing.) Very handy.

it has a door at the back to aid this.

only one layer, never mind.

All in all, not a bad find for £5 (in spite of the backwards assembly.) I think this will be my Moot tent.

Lovely 70s colours :) I have a mate who insists on using his 70s 4 man thing - it's a great tent in many ways but we will fall out one day because I refuse to help him carry it!

I did spray some on the roof, Im out now.

I will buy another can; drattedly expensive stuff but essential if you have decent tents and want to keep them in good nick.

Anytime I spy something canvas at the car boot, I pounce like a...well, Tengu.

I have landed several frame tents, Vango force tens and suchlike over the years.

I cant recall finding a dog, though some, like this one are not exactly to my taste.

Give them a good air, a proof, and make sure they are shipshape and I profit well by them. A canvas tent is a desirable thing.

(Except when you cant pass it on at the car boot and you have to lug it home, but hey, I did make you an offer...)
