I have finished this latest design. For want of a better name, I'll call it the Humpback Bushie!
The blade is a full tang, 3/32" thick 01 tool steel. It's 8 1/2" long with a 4" (105mm) cutting edge. The blade is vinegar etched. The classic Bushie handle is made of slightly antiqued Teak, with riveted brass pins and brass tube.
The cutting edge is the same shape as the Woodlore, but by adding the "hump" the point is slightly blunter making it stronger. The increase in blade width keeps the blade strong while being only 3/32" (2.4mm) thick.
