I used 01 4mm carbon steel, Buffalo horn scales with white liners.. A coal fire, £20 Lidels grinder and loads of sandpaper, wire wool...

Looks good! Did you profile the thing with a lansky, or do I see that wrong?

Hi

No i did it all by eye. No jigs either (wish i had one though it gets the nerves going doing it by hand), I just market it out first then used grinder, Sander, Files, Sandpaper to get the bevel, then used the Lansky to make sure it was right, then used it to sharpen the blade....

it is great to see what you have made, i'm inspired by seeing what other people make, great!
looks to be a solid, practical knife
