Some pics of myself and Kit's (copper_head) traditional style overnighter :)

This was my first try at a more traditional style outing and loved it. It made a big change from using all my modern gear/setups etc and gave a whole different experience and I loved it! Don't get me wrong, I still love my modern gear/setups as well but this style brings a whole different and also enjoyable experience.

This outing was more of a test/taster to see how I got on and plan to do a weekend and maybe change kit a bit in November for possibly a go at a Daniel Boone Challenge. I didn't get as many pictures as I would like of more aspects as I tend to forget but will try and make sure I take more for the weekend in November :)

Nice trip lads, the weather was a bit dodgy last weekend as well. Kit carving a spoon reminds me of the geezer sat at top of the Headrow shaking a collecting tin :lmao:. Hoping to meet up with you both soon.

They're great bud. Pack down small and great pot supports. Also good for hanging candle lantern on when chilling out in bedroll :D

Nice clear up afterwards goodjob

Top weekend for me, here's a few of my pics.

Really loved it bud, was so relaxing and great to camp differently the what I'm used to. Loved camping out in the open, something you don't feel properley if in a tent or hammock/tarp setup. In fact I think I prefer doing it this way and possibly will stick to this setup for woodland camping. I cant wait to do it again in November or sooner if poss. :)

Will be another one in January bud, Dates will likely go up after 15th Nov meet :)
