A piece of nylon, 2.3 oz/yard², 124"x59" after stitching.
A deep and comfortable through, once I am in, but bugger to enter or leave.
With the second piece of sewn nylon I think I make the sides a bit more floppy.
These were the instructions used to make it:

One end was whipped W-shape, the other regular. I will sleep in them in nights to come and report.

looks good, how is it for weight? Could you backpack with it, and how much did it cost to produce?
Good work! :D

Cost for the fabric were, because of an special offer, only € 6,- per meter, so € 21,- for all.
Some ropes I had lying around and the whipping was donne with the tension cords from a tent, 1m on each side.
Weight without the ropes is around 400gr.
I already whipped the second one with the sides shortened only 4cm on each side and its easier to enter and still very stable.
The ropes stretch too much, I have to look for something else.

The fabric is way too stretchy, so rigging the hammock is quite a problem. Finding suitable fabric here in germany is definitly a problem.
I relaxed the long sides all the way and now its floppier at the sides, so I can enter/leave easier.
