My first handmade knife

Thought I would upload some pics of my first attempt at knife making. Full tang Skinner style clip point with false edge. Scale is mahogany in teak oiled finish. Flat ground with a secondary bevel and been honed to shave sharp. A little light tiger stiping on the blade. Opinions?

Only thought to take pictures from the semi finished to finished stage im afraid. But tell me what you think

Thanks very much mate. Making a few and was thinking of sending them around for people to test out never know see if I can sell a couple. If not it's killed a day or 2 in the shed and kept me quiet lol

That's a bonny & handy looking wee blade Mick. Be especially good for someone with smaller hands.

Cheers GB. Was aimed more at smaller hands I've got fairly sizable paws so all my handles are chunky

SWMBO seems to like this knife so seems it does lend itself to smaller mitts like GB said. Not sure if I'm a fan of the etching though personally next one will just be getting buffed
