This is the first knife I have made for someone else who has paid for it and asked up front for it.

He chose the blade wood and materials and just put it together and advised him on which way size pieces.

The blade is a 73 mm Poul Strand lamintaed polished.
The handle is Stabilised elm burr with buffalo horn and bone with read fibre and a brass bolster.
The sheath is wetformed halftanned leather

Thats a really sweet classic scandy.

Love it.

I have been lucky enough to go bushcrafting with a choice of Magnus Axelson, Stu Mitchell, Bernie Garland and others on my hip. Such a knife would fit in wellwith that line up

Thanks for the comments.

The guy collected it earlier and it will be covered in rabbit blood soon and seemed to like it ;)
