Mushroom Walk near Selby

We went for a stroll through our local woods (via a pub). There was a multitude of shrooms to be spotted right on the path. Along with the ubiquitous birch poly-pore there were some familiar faces, some less so.

Great walk in the sunshine - had we gone off the main path I'm guessing there would be lots more to see.

Good selection there mountainm, the purplish ones possibly one of the russulas. It’s been so mild there’s plenty of mushrooms about, here’s some I came across only today
