Another thought, a small boat, I haven't fished the River Dane at Middlewich for about two years so don't know if he's still about, a very nice man I would chat with on the way to my "swim" had/has a small boat on the Trent and Mersey canal,

he sat on the tow path whittling away, making some lovely small, shaped animals like elephants etc, people passing, by boat or walk, would order some of his stuff.

He had been a mariner who had visited most countries around the world, he had/has a South African accent that I quizzed him on but he didn't grow up there.

Anyway,

if not a tent, there's always a boat to live on in the countryside but I think you'll get sick of the berries that grow along the tow paths.

Well! yer did say outside.

If you just want to be outdoors for a while, on a VERY limited budget you can walk the various Camino Santiago de Compostelas from various points in Europe to Spain. I did the Frances. It took 6 weeks. This year I'm returning to walk a different way. The "ways" are supported every 20-30 km with places to stay from "free" to maybe 10 Euro. Really, the only expense is food, and if you're willing to picnic, well, I spent 3 months traveling, walking here and there and spent only $2000 American. That's cheaper than I could live in the USA. The various routes are lovely. If you want a couple of good websites with photos, give me a shout.

If we had to do an assessment on such a case we'd have alarm bells ringing as well.

Im no loon so what if i don't wont to live in a building and also if one man sleeps outdoors
becomes smelly and a tramp will not mean another man will theres no reason why you could not stay clean .

oil drum full of water by a fire will make a gr8 bath they used to do this on the demolition sites the ones claiming dss and a change of clothing so no one there street grassed them up for working

plz don't make me laff alarm bells ringing .... such a case .......

Whatever part of your life that is making you want to leave it all behind has got to be dealt with before you can really accomplish anything.

I would say, save your money handle your business and then go hike the Apalation trail in the states for six months. Its a trip i alwase wanted to take but now that i have two kids and a violent yet cuddly wife I know i can never do it. If you dont have those attachments then for you should do something.

But doing things right is the diffrence between telling your grandchildren with pride about walking the trails and sleeping under the stars or being ashamed of what a reck you were and how long it took you to get back on your feet.

Some lame but good advise my dad used to give me is. "If it worth doing its worth doing right, and if its worth having. Then it is worth paying for. If you cant afford to pay for it then you did not want it bad enouph."

Anyway good luck

I THOUGHT I would share just a little about my self
14yrs old put in care not going school 16 return home still sixteen go to Kent work on farms picking sprouts and other veg
Storm comes and destroys woods behind caravan never got paid as left for Birmingham them storms where so bad.
Back in brum start sofa surfing end up sleeping in flats top floor always scary in them places & school out building with a boiler that place was so warm lol and up brum city where I was plagued by perv’s my mate was a rent boy he kept me fed and stuff 18teen back home dad still the nasty man to be honest he still is suffered some real crap at the hands of this bloke soon leave again and this time I never went back.
Meet a girl lived with her and her mother for a good few yrs till this ended 25yrs old
Now im back on me **** in the city living under a canal bridge near snow hill station next to the salvation army this place is full of rats and at night was always cold due to the wind blasting up the canal I had a feather bag and a plastic sheet to cover me and me m8
Out off all the places I ever slept this was the worst.
New st station was good for a few nights.
We would get a shower at an old church that was used for the homeless this is on A45 Stratford road close to Sparkbrook
Not sure if still there.
There’s a man living on the canal in a brick shed he as added a door fitted with locks and lives well see him in the mornings chucking he’s wash water into the cut and going off to work.
The days are spent walking and looking for food a m8 off mine used to get loads of burger buns naughty bloke from the deliveries at burger king no burgers just the buns.
Sit around with a busker every now n then he didn’t smoke and ppl would throw fags into his hat which I would be given to smoke nice chap. the last time I slept out like this would have been 8yrs or so. Plenty more things happened but I think that’s my business
Should I choose to live outside of a building it will not be like this I won’t go any ware till im dam sure I will be ok and have me a nice little boat on the cut to live in if that ever happens im sure I will be one happy chap.

Coventry I lives now as was sleeping on a hill here for a short time and yet again on the canal put me name on the housing register moved in with me mother for while got me own gaff
And the rest is history.

There’s things I just cannot share here this may make it look week a story but never the less true

Sct cheers

Opal, do you realise how tiresome the Net is on Dial up?

The Net is my Salvation too; enables me to get out and socialise in spite of this new fangled Autism...

(PS, Open life, no text talk here, it scares the ferrets.)

If we had to do an assessment on such a case we'd have alarm bells ringing as well.

You'd be wrong. I read the reports in the german papers and she was absolutely normal and down to earth. Her children had grown up etc. and she was ****** off with her life, so she hit the road - and survived very well!

Everyone was trying to find something loony in her - but they couldn't.

i just don't like being stacked like bails of hay
under or above other people.. yep lives in a flat and it sending me loopy

any thoughts

I know the feeling, grew up in the countryside, moved to a flat in the city for uni/work and it was fun for a while, but after a few years, I've come to absolutely loath living so close to other people. The noise, the lack of privacy, the people who come knocking on your door, it's horrible, so I'm hunting for a place in the middle of nowhere now. I still want one with atleast 4 walls, a roof and windows though.

My wife and I go on a 6 to 9 week hunting camping trip every year
To get out and away from the rat race. And I can tell you it costs more
for those weeks then it would to stay in our home. But for us it is worth it to only see each other for days on end. Would we do this all the time
no We have our ranch to run. But if some one wants to buy a working
ranch of 3 sections a section = 660 ak let us know. and we will move to Montana.
