My latest sewing project..
A Gilet made from a couple of East European ponchos I bought at the Moot a couple of years back, lined with luxurious brushed cotton (thanks Toddy.
No poses this time :)

Worn over another of my designs in Welsh Flannel and made for me by Teifi Mills (The Welsh Woolen Museum) when I was seeing if my own line of woolen Bushcraft shirts was viable....

Great bit of sewing john, very stylish indeed :)

I was impressed with the shirt, and the gilet looks excellent and practical too, but I'm impressed with Steve's manipulation of the neck cricking photo :D

Never mind the Pink….away and teach the The Fenna to sort it out :D

That said, I have five metres of pink flannel needing a new home too :lmao:

LOL... All I did was link to the pictures on his post over in the Make Your Own Bushcraft Kit group on FB. That's why they're different sizes :)

As for me teaching him? He wears a badge that says 'Untrainable' so what chance do I have Mary?

As for the pink flannel... it's his 60th birthday this year so there might be some suitably pink celebrations at the Moot which that could be put towards ;)

I don't mind that, almost a cherry color, not pink pink.
Be careful what you wish for.
Cricket .22 cal single shot rifle can be had from Cabela's (#1K-217335) with a very bright pink synthetic stock.

If I recall correctly the word "Gorm" as in "Cairn gorm" means blue...
Were Viking men (as Wayland professionally represents when not b*gg*r*ing about with photos) really seen as "Gormless"? :)
