More leaves!

Hi Guys,

Been busy bashing bits of copper again Thought I'd best get some more practice in before I attempt the tutorial I made an oak leaf this time, and am actually quite pleased with it. The end could do with a bit of flattening, but apart from that its not too bad, I like the effect the hammered texture gives.



And, just for Red.. one baby ivy leaf charm Thinking these would be nice on bracelets..something else to try

Those are nice Rachael.

Was thinking about a Ginkgo leaf, too. A simpler shape than an oak, and a leaf very much associated with health due to the herbal properties.

Thanks guys The oak leaf does actually have a brooch pin on the back, though I had a bit of trouble getting it to stay still so the solder is a little messy

Not only unique, but 'right' too, iimmc.

What kind of copper are you in need of ? and how much would you like ?.........I have the pieces of an old copper tank sitting doing not a lot. Two big flat sheets and a top lid.....it's been the size of an oil drum. I also have a copper ballcock from the old tank too. Made in two halves....could be seperated, and it'd be in precurved pieces.

Just an idea
