A quick Google learnt that Philips does a few models. Though it would come in handy (...) when out and about for a longer period of time. Especially since most (well mine do) headlamp & camera run on AAA batteries (so you can cannibalise them if needed - when you need to call SWMBO you stay out a week or 2 longer ;) ).
:slap:

Any of you guys have one?

See if you can locate one of these on evilbay:

My first mobile :) Could run off x4 AA's - you could buy a special battery cover or use the original with some elastic bands as the AA's had a little more depth to them than the proper one.

The Solar powered Scotty will charge 2 AA batteries and comes with a special lead to dump the power into your phone's battery.:)

I want one of those Scotty vests/jackects as they are great for EDC stuff & if they can charge your phone as well, that would be great. Are those wind up torch things that will charge a USB mobile any good?

I have tried various cheap windup chargers and they have all been pretty awful to say the least.
My brother swears by his charge monkey system he bought cheap on a tour.
I prefer to keep the excuse that my phone has "died" when off to the woods.:o
