Minimal Kit List

I wanted to put together my minimal kit i would be comfortable doing a overnight camp with, let me know what you think

The kit is inside a billy can made from a coffee can with a bail

The kit packed away:

Fire kit (candles, matches, book of matches, cotton wool, inner tube, birch bark, magnesium, small dry sticks and magnifying glass)
Space Blanket
Karrimor Tool- Whistle, Button Compass and led torch
9 led torch
multi tool
duck tape
signalling mirror
stanley blade
2 large caple ties and 4 small
Tweezers
Nail Clippers
Bandage
Alcohol cleaning wipes
Diffrent size plasters

Multi-tool:

It has:
Pliers
Knife
Awl
cross head screwdriver
Can opener
bottle opener
flat head screwdriver

I take it you set up a shelter using the space blanket?

You haven't packed any cord?

If I was out over night without tarp my first objective would be to make a lean to using the zip-ties, but i have space left in the can so i may add a small bundle of cord..

It can take a while and a lot of energy to make a lean to, eventing in you really needing food so you have energy reserves to keep warm ect throughout the night.

Its a good idea though, I might make a minimal kit box and then show me using it although i doubt ill have the time this year to be honest.

The kit i put together tonight as a kit i can cover the essentials with:
The knife on the multi tool, zip ties, Space blanket can be used for shelter
billy can to boil water
fire kit for fire and cooking
knife on multitool or stanley blade to skin animals which i could use a deadfall trap to gain

I like how i can use this kit as it is and survive... and also throw in tarp, knife, saw, sleeping bag, food and water and have a good kit ready to go
