Made myself a lightweight tripod this evening, with all the stuff im planning to bring, and the car park being out of bounds due to the bonfire, i may need a hand lugging it to my pitch.

I don't remember seeing anything about car park being out of use. IIRC there was a copy of email received by Simon from Middlewood. but can't find that either. I think it said something about someone elsr using site that w/end. Strange!!!

There's a chance the Wood clan might be free that weekend  ... however a couple of questions ...
1. Are dogs allowed? (I'm quite happy with dogs on leads only policy, but it'd be day trip only if I can't fetch the mutt.)
2. If so, is it ok to sleep in the van in the car park ... I'm not ashamed to be girlie about camping :D

Sorry Nicola, the camp site operates a strict no dogs policy.

Bad news for me :(

I'm on call for the weekend and can't get out of it as the other engineer is away on holiday so won't be able to get sozzled and crash but I will certainly be making day visits so I can do the odd shop run if anyone needs supplies.

Bernie Garland has offered to bring a whole pig and his gear to roast it if there is any interest....

We need to raise £100 to cover the cost of the pig, which will be professionally slaughtered and wil have meat standards stamps on it!

So, come on 10 people at a tenner each or as many as want for an equal share of the cost ....

Names added to the list to show a firm commitment please ASAP so that Bernie can order the pig.
