Looks well made, and I believe it's a solid brand, personally would never by a double headed but what ever floats your boat I guess!
They crop up on eBay from time to time. JP says they aren't worth the hassle though, but it is something I wouldn't mind trying out sometime. May be worth us getting one and doing a passaround on it if you are interested?

Just wondering, what exactly don't you like about it? Some sort of balance problem or something or is it just not the style of axe you like? I'm just wondering, no interest in it really.
I love bth full sizrd double bits and cruiser axes 
Indeed I have several.
The marbles is just too small to be useful.Its helve is thinner than a marker pen and the head too light for even carving work. I'm not averse to mini axes - I have and use both a Reeves and a Wetterlings. But toy axes do nothing for me

OOh i like that! If you do find somewhere that sells them let me know. Been looking at buying a Grnasfors Double headed throwing Axe. I love Gransfors axe's but would like an axe with a shiny head.... not that i am picky!
I have one of these wee axes and believe the key to understanding it will be found in the name.
In addition to replacing the tacky-looking studded and ill-fitting mask I re-profiled both heads. One has been given a meaty grind better suited to chopping through bone and splitting campfire-sized timber. The other you can shave with and has been useful in skinning and meat prep.
It suites my needs perfectly and for anything more adventurous I'll let the Husqie 346XP let rip!

I don't use an axe much normally, I tend to baton with my leuku for most splitting jobs, but I have been thinking of something a bit meatier for static camp firewood.
Double bit seems a useful idea with a different grind for splitting and cutting a la Nessmuk.
I thought the Marbles axe might fit the bill but it sounds as if it might be a bit lightweight for the job.
I was waiting for the Cegga / Nessmuk axe to see the light of day but that doesn't sound too close yet so I may have to go custom.

Mine came blunt as a cucumber on both sides. Took considerable time to rebevel but works a treat when it's done as a hunting axe/hatchet.
Have a Filson Macinaw Cruiser coat with a rear pocket that it fits in perfectly.
Designed as a trappers cruiser double bit axe used on softwoods (softer steel temper). Decent balance, swings well for a smaller axe but handle is a bit too narrow for most.
I use it all the time and have become very attached to it, even more than my Knives of Alaska Hunter's Hatchet.
Can't hardly go wrong with it for the money if you know what you're doing as I know Wayland is quite capable afield he should have no problems making it dance for him in hand.

I'm starting to wonder at how big this little axe is now. Can anyone stick a picture up with it against a Small Forest Axe or a Mora knife, something to give an idea of its' actual size?
About 14" spam...and sub 2lbs. Now that doesn't seem too bad...indeed its more than my Lee Reeves double bit...but its short bitted and very round in the blade. I'm trying to think of a cutting equivalent and the nearest I can think of is A Gransfors mini

That's about the same size as my hammer! I use that to knock nails in with! Liked the look of it, but can't see the point now!
