Absolutely. Specially if countries they do the work in are of dubious hygienic level.....
Are there any match manufacturers in UK?
Lighters?
Dunhill still make lighters in UK I believe, but they are not so suitable to take out.
No, no, no, no, no - that is far from correct!!!! Plenty of people in the UK backpacked, rough camped, used campfires to cook on carved camp utensils
apart from the one I mentioned there isn’t afaikYes, Swedish Match has a World Domination in matches, all the patents and stuff, but is there a factory in UK?
Should be?
Swan Vesta? I guess the match usage is going down, with fewer smokers and cheap lighters..
Plenty of food and drink is still made in UK.
( from UK ingredients)
I know the OP wanted UK made bushcraft equipment, but we all take food with us out so....
That's me!!Knife makers?
Leather works?
The most interesting stuff often is made in a shed in a one man show.
Enough here for study.

My main experience of British made is/was Joseph Lucas, the "Prince of darkness"
and waistcoat that was actually made in Turkey, for example. Works for me, I'm supporting British clothmakers whilst getting finished garments at a reasonable cost, if with a questionable carbon footprint, in hindsight.
