Does anyone have a Lowe alpine strike rucksack?

If you do is there a chance of giving me some measurments of the main
Part of the pack, ie H,W,D.

Im looking for a new daypack that i can add to if required and quite like the look of it.

Mines in the loft, but it is big for a day sack. Like a 45 Litre almost. Back is not very stiff either so needs to be packed carefully. I like it but hardly ever use it.

Cheers Cliff, not as big as i thought then. Mmmmm

RS im thinking about using just the main part of the pack and dropping the two pooches inside to keep it organised but if i need i can zip them on and drop a dossbag and bits inside for an overnighter or extended stays.

The Lowe Alpine Strike is a 4Olitre main body + 2 X 10 litre side pouches...........

Height ; 69 cm...........width; 24cm...........depth 24cm...

weight; 1.86O Kg with pouches...around 1.220 Kg without.

This info was taken from a French bushcraft site where a geezer was reviewing it.

Hope this helps.

Cheers BTW.
Its looking like it could be a little too big.
Might have to look at the Berghaus centurio instead.

I've got one and find it ok.
I like the one strap fastening and it's fine as a daysack, the fact that it has the side pouches too is a bonus.

Have been thinking of stiffening the back with some alu bar but when i do pack it full it'll only be for a few miles walk,so in no rush for that.

I managed to get my hands on a mint example of the pack and yes the PLCE pooches do fit but personally i prefer the slightly smaller LA ones.

Sorry mate brought it yesterday at a show DPM with a lowe alpine badge but two buckles and no side pouches , thought it was a Strike but dont know now ??

Twodogs

Might be Q in this line up, mate.

Lowe Alpine Scout.

If anyone has used a Munro and an LA Strike, how 'flimsier' is the back on the Strike compared to the Munro?

The strike 'creases' a good bit at the bottom if not filled to capacity.I tried replacing the ccf back piece with a little thicker one but to no avail.
I've just got some alu bar this evening to try and stiffen it up a bit.
I'll let you know how it works out.

I have loaded mine up and had aday out with it. Im chuffed to bits with it, quite comfy, can get plenty of kit in there.
So far my loadout is
Snugpack Elite3 then the two pouches packed and loaded inside. This keeps it nice and slim, but if i needed to put my arctic bag inside i would just zip the pouches on and load up from there.
