Lowe Alpine Strike

I stiffened up the back of my LA Strike with a sheet of this board I got for free from a sign making place, the guy said it's a sort of resin sandwiched between two very thin pieces of aluminium.

I got them to cut it to size, put some gaffer tape around the edges, then slid in into the pocket thing inside behind that foam pad, works a treat.

I found that before that I had to pack it carefully because the pack would take the shape of whatever was in there if it was a bulky item and could make hotspots on my back.

Its had a good few outings now and so far so good. The way i have loaded it has made a huge difference to how it carries.
What i do like is for a smallish pack the waist belt fits me where it should. Next job is to change the buckle for a berghaus one.
