Looking for rubbish black paracord

Has anybody bought any carp black paracord that they're not going to use ?

Swmbo wants some for the kids at college to use for a project, I don't really want to buy any decent 550 stuff for them just to chop up. I think they're making a tape measure of sorts and need something for a small lanyard.

Some of that flatter cheap stuff would be ideal.

I can get the 50' of the 550 stuff for £5 delivered if anyone can beat that.

I'm sure you can get cord for blinds in black - have you tried your local haberdashers?

is this any good - it's cheap and if it is not needed for strength....

i got my para cord from thebushcraftstore and i have too say its excellent stuff..as i bought some other para cord from local shop & its stretchy and poor qualty...atb shogun

+1 for the bushcraft store, great service. The cord is ok I dont think I have handled genuine 550 cord so I cant say if the quality is similar. It was great for what I wanted thought.
