are there any local groups or organisations in the midlands area i am located in the notttinghamshire area i struggle to find legal locations it would be nice to meet up with other people in a location that was fully legal.
just a quick question how basic do most of you keep your shelters do most people use bashas bivis tents or natural shelters ie lean to just curios really.

We are all diehard campers, we make shelters only from what we find and any manmade cordage is just cheating. Meanwhile back in the real world....whatever keeps you comfy is what most of us bring! I'd say most either hammock or tent.
There is a meet at Coventry, thats not far from you.
