Lo, I'm new

Hi all.

I've just registered and thought this would be a good place to begin!
Some of you may recognise my login from SotP or even a landrover forum.

I have little practical experience of living without modern trappings, but I am a keen wilderness traveller with a backpack full of outdoors kit.

I am hoping to improve my lack of knowledge as I am attending a week long course with Woodlore next summer.
