linen thread?

what sort of shop (in a town as opposed to online) can one expect to buy some linen thread suitable for leatherwork. Of course I could order it off leprevo but unfortunately I did not include that on my latest order which was recieved only about two weeks ago.
This would mean I would have to order a minimum of £10 worth of stuff I don't need, on top of VAT and postage. Would it for instance be available in B&Q or somwhere more specialised.

Help would be much appreciated :) ,

Your best bet is a craftshop or a haberdashery. Here in maidstone C&H fabrics do it on a card - look for something called carpet thread. We also have a craft store that sell in in larger quantities. If you have a hobbycraft near you, they will also sell it ( we have one of those too ;) )
Failing any of these send me a PM and I will stick some in the post for you. As I do a lot of leather work i buy loads - and as you can see i have a few local sources too so could pick some up for you. Just let me know what colour.

I get mine at a shoe repair/ leather shop here in my town. He sells some really thick stuff for about a 1.00 a spool. I also get a splitable nylon thread for about the same price.
