If you want it for hammocking Elen, have you considered a top quilt?
You'll get all the warmth you want for around 800-900g and it will be on budget too. You'll also get goose down, not duck down like you will on more budget down bags like the Alpkits.
I use a down top quilt and down and synthetic sleeping bags in the hammock, but they all get used as a quilt.
If it was me I would stick to the silk one , I have both and tend just to use the silk one I think its better ,,,, save your 20 quidam doing so. Is this micro fleece liner any good as additional layer of warmth? I already have a pure silk liner.
Is this Marmot any good ?
Snap that up at that price
am doing so.
I hadn't, TeePee. it's previousl given me a feeling of being uncovered but I've never tried it, so it's all imagination. You obviously like it. Can you recommend a TQ?
If you do go for it remember to try the Cotswold discount code* open to Full Members of the forum ~ as it's already heavily discounted the code might not work, but it might.
*It's listed in the discount section of the FM forum, I can't remember what the discount is but it's definitely still active.
I did try the Cotswold discount code - it came back with "code not known". I tried and checked several times.
