I made good money shooting 6x9 cm color of commercial fireworks displays.
Sorry but that was all analog. I have no images to show you.
I was a carded commercial pyrotechnician (wiring specialist) so I got a front row seat.

I did come to believe as you do that there's a concept, "writing with light," which gets lost
in human vision. BANG! And it took a while to process the residual image in my eyes.
After a while, I think I came to imagine what the "writing" would look like as the pyro exploded.

Your images are such grand experiments.
Thanks for sharing the brilliance of the different light sources.

Back in the day when I was doing a lot of water color painting along harbour waterfronts,
Some days, I'd wet two stretched sheets of w/c paper and put some electric matches between them.

BANG! and some red sugar residues would mix with the smokes of the ignitions.
All sorts of interesting abstractions. Experimental.

I like the writing made by the (iron?) sparks. Nearly a ballet of forms.
