I've got one. It's a handy all-rounder and goes very well with with a Kelly/Storm/Bush kettle.

But if you hate combo blades, well.... it;s got one :-)

Cheers

I have one in the pocket of my buoyancy aid as my back up rescue knife.
Great little cutter - but I too prefer a sraight edge blade for most tasks...

Probably of little consolation, but the serration does come off quite easily with a metal file allowing you to put a nice recurve or plain straight edge on the blade if you've a mind to (I do this quite a bit on knives that sell at reduced prices because they don't move with the serrations, lol).

Be safe.

On the strenght of these replies I might just give one a try. Can always keep the box and give it to my Brother in law if it doesn't suit:lmao:
NJ. Good idea could also give that a try.

I organised a group buy for these a long time ago and for the money they are grand.
Not in the same league of small locking folder as say a Fallkniven U2 but a handy wee tool none the less.

A plain edge would suit me better but as has been mentioned already it wouldn't be a big job to sort that out if you wanted.

Mine lives in my camo jacket and has dealt with many a rabbit and lit a kelly kettle or trangia on many occasions when i have forgotten my regular knife / firesteel
