I saw that. Star Trek was popular program in our household when I was a lad (late sixties), he'll be missed.

He was a part of my childhood, I remember the first Star Trek series the first time around. I shall miss him.

If ever a tv series and it's actors influenced generations, then Star Trek did

Rest in peace Mr Nimoy, who lived life and prospered, and left it with grace, loved and remembered by so many.

Was sad to hear about this earlier. As Toddy says, a huge influence on a generation. He did a few studio albums, sometimes collaborating with William Shatner, two more unlikely singing partners I've yet to see get a deal. This is probably my favourite of his, I used to like singing the song as a kid.

Sad day today. Star trek not only influenced other science fiction but changes a lot in the world from how we view it, to the technology we use.

Interesting chap all round that got a little typecast after Trek but had many other roles as well.

Like most, Spock is how I will remember him best.

He has boldly gone now where all must eventually follow. Farewell.
