I'm just starting to dabble in a bit of leathercraft and have been buying some tools from ebay. I got this thingy in with some other bits and havn't a clue what it's for. Is it possibly for pulling threads or something through a hole?

Thanks for any suggestions and keep it clean please :)

Nose hair plucker...:pokenest:

Don't know really, but it looks more likely it's for pulling lacing rather than thread, because of the size of the hole needed to push the tip through, if that makes sense...

more likely it's for pulling lacing rather than thread,

That's the kind of thing I was thinking of Jojo, pulling lacing or leather thongs through a hole, it would need to be quite a big hole by the size of it. It's a wierd looking thing :)

Actually yeah that should do you for lacing/thonging work. leather is pretty stretchy so its probebly a good way to get thonging through a small hole rather then having to cut a great big one :D
