Leather gloves

I just got a pair of leather gloves to wear at work but they dont fit quite properly. I like gloves to be really tight, i find it hard to do anything that requires dexterity when i am wearing loose ones. Is it possible to shrink them to fit, or should i just try to find some that fit properly? The problem is that i have funny shaped hands and havent yet found gloves the same shape!

Some people soak them, then wear them until they dry.

I think it depends how they have been tanned or treated - making some leather wet just makes it dry hard and brittle.

True - but you can feed the leather as it dries to prevent that.
