Leather circle cutter on evilbay

I have no idea where to post this but this Vintage circle cutter thing has been on the bay a while now. I figured one of our leather people might like it. Looks ideal for making patches??

Looks good if you only want one size of circle - a boatload of coasters maybe?

Which are very good for the price, need a bit of a sharpen.

That tool looks to me to be specific for cutting a 2 7/8ths leather washer for a particular trade; something like the leather discs used in some of the Hydro Rams discussed a while back in another thread.

There's probably someone somewhere who'd give his, or her, eye teeth for one if they could find it...........................
