I've bought 'Israeli Bandages' from this guy in the past and I saw this 'Blow out kit' that some might find handy as a immediate kit to hand in the event of a major cut

The dates on the kit I've bought from them have always been good. Don't know the size but with a 4" bandage it should fit in a thigh pocket.
