Top spoon (ash) i carved last week and finished off today, bottom spoon (sycamore) i started yesterday, and now waiting to dry before finishing off and oiling!
Thanks for looking.

Love the grain in the ash spoon - goodjob

Regarding the little dark inclusion in the bowl of the sycamore spoon, did you know it was there when you started, or did it only emerge as you carved it? I find it really annoying when I have what I think is a good quality blank, and then find some resin pocket or other flaw in an inconvenient place.

Nice spoon though anyway!

Found the resin pocket when i started shaping the bowl!
It's only gonna get used for eating super noodles and stiring my coffee on a cold bimble day out, the coffee will make it look like oak after a few goes, then i won't even notice it!:p

Finished with sandpaper I'm afraid, tooled finish is nice for bowls etc, but a spoon I use needs to be sanded!
