Knives from a cutting disc?

I like that scraper knife hoodoo nice find.If I see a nice old wooden handle scraper I give you a call mate.His kind of reminds me of small axe made out from a hammer that my dad made years ago when he worked in a shipyard in glasgow.


That hammer sounds interesting. Is it still in your family? Some years ago I recall seeing a website that had hawks or axes made from hammers. I think there used to be a tutorial floating around as well. Haven't seen it in awhile so I don't know if it's still around.

Its still in my dads home in Glasgow as far as know.As I remember he made it when he was a working young fitter(1960s) and was done on some kind of very heavy machinery.

Will do but I have not been in Scotland in 8 year so don't hold your breath.But I think this is a old trick that working men use too do years and years ago.So must still be more of them out there.Its a bit like the old anvils made out of railway track you sometime see.
