Ask a farrier,( there are more than a few in ireland) they always have worn rasps in their vans.
Ask builders merchants for samples of hardwood flooring (a good source for Oak, Ash,walnut, cherry etc)
B & Q for 1 metre lenths of aluminium, brass or 6mm tubing (rivets)

depends what you want in the way of supplies.

Raw materials then try scrap yard and engineering firms for metal parts; wood from kitchen shops and timber yards, leather from proper cobblers (ie not the cut your key while you wait mister type).

There are lots of online suppliers for all of the stuff as well, including Attleborough Accessrories and Brisa for parts; craft supplies, Axminster, etc for handles; Le Prevo and Tandy for leather; Crowmwell for steel, etc, etc.

Or you can get the bits from those of us that make them ourselves ;) Like a premade blade, precut handles, sheath kits, etc
